PLANET SFP28 25G fiber optic transceiver series is designed to work with PLANET products with 25G SFP28 interfaces. It provides a high-performance 25Gbps Ethernet network for enterprises, telecoms and ISPs. It is suitable for PLANET DCS-7342-48Y8C Layer 3 Managed Data Center Switch. The SFP28 series is also well applicable for data center cloud computing. The deployment distance can be extended from 100 meters (multi-mode, LC) to up to 10 kilometers (single-mode, LC).
These transceiver modules are compliant with the SFP Multisource Agreement (MSA) and hot pluggable. These modules offer an easy way to be installed in SFP MSA compliant ports at any time without the interruption of the host equipment operation.
The SFP28 series also supports SFP-DDM (Digital Diagnostic Monitor) function that greatly helps network administrator to easily monitor real-time parameters of the SFP, such as optical output power, optical input power, temperature, laser bias current, and transceiver supply voltage.
