[IKVM-8000] How to use the Virtual Media for IKVM-8000?

Before using Virtual Media, please connect the USB cable from IKVM-8000 to host computer. After connecting the USB cable, you can see a “Removable Disk” on the host computer. Below is the host computer screen.




A.Floppy Disk
Step1: You need to create the floppy to an image file first.

Step2: Please run the “RawWrite” software.


Step3: You can find the image file after you creating by “RawWrite”.

Step4: Please open browser to login toIKVM-8000. Click “Virtual MediaFloppy Disk”.


Step5: After you uploading the image file, you will see the information below.


Step6:Open the remote console and you can see the host computer that connects toIKVM-8000 will add a virtual Floppy as below picture.


B.CD-ROM Image
Step1:Please run nero or CD imaging tool to create CD-ROM ISO image.

Step2:On client computer, please create a folder and share this folder.

Step3:On client computer, Copy the CD-ROM ISO image file to this sharing folder.

Step4:Open IKVM-8000 webpage with browser and go to Virtual Media, please fill in the sharing information as below picture.


Step5:Image file set successfully.


Step6:Open the remote console; you can see the virtual CD as below picture.


C.Drive Redirection
Step1:Please run Drive Redirection on remote side.


Step2:Open the remote and you can see the virtual hard drive as below picture.
