Please connect the A/V cable that comes in the package to A/V Out jack, and connect the yellow jack with TV monitor or VCR.

If a firewall exists on the network, port 80 is open for ordinary data communication. However, since the Internet Camera transmits image data, the default port 8481 is also required. Therefore, it is necessary to open port 8481 of the network for remote users to access the Internet Camera.

Maybe NAT router does not support UPnP function. Please check user’s manual of router and turn on UPnP function.
The choice of NTSC or PAL depends on the analog camera used. If the analog camera is the NTSC type, the IVS-2120 will output the video as the NTSC format, and vice versa.
Connect the powered analog camera to the IVS-2120 first and then power on the IVS-2120 for determining NTSC or PAL format. After that, connect the video out cable to the monitor, so that the IVS-2120 will output the correct video format to TV monitor properly.
To activate the ActiveX Mode, client PC will have to download the ActiveX plug-in first. The CD which comes with Internet Camera contains this file. Its filename is xplug.ocx. Please follow the procedures below to publish it on your web site. By doing this, users will be prompted to download xplug.ocx while they use ActiveX mode at the first time.
STEP 1
Copy xplug.ocx to the home directory of a web server.
STEP 2
Log on the Home page of ICA-100 series, click on the "System Administration" link.
The system page will appear.
STEP 3
Locate the "Loading ActiveX From" field on system page.
Fill the field with web server's address. Either IP address or Internet address will do.
For example: http://www.planet.com.tw/ or http://203.70.249.1/.
Please note that you have to add "/" at the end of the address.
STEP 4
Click on "Save", the setting will take effect after the screen refresh.
