1. The first time the PC connects to ICA-500, a pop-up Security Warning window will appear to download ActiveX Controls. When using Windows NT, Windows 2000 or Windows XP, log on with an appropriate account that is authorized to install applications.
2. Network congestion may prevent the Image screen from appearing quickly. You may choose lower resolution to reduce the required bandwidth.
The ICA-W8100 series needs about two minutes to stop the recording procedure. Please wait at least for two minutes before running unmount SD card.
Check the IP address of device by using the PLANET IP Wizard II program or by UPnP discovery or set the device to default by the reset button.
Go to C:\Windows\Downloaded Program Files and check to see if there is an entry for the file "WebWatch Class". The status column should show "Installed".
If the file is not listed, make sure your Security Settings in Internet Explorer are configured properly and then try reloading the ICA-500's home page. Most likely, the ICA-500 ActiveX control did not download and install correctly.
Check your Internet Explorer security settings and then close and restart Internet Explorer. Try to browse and log in again.
There is no speaker inside camera. For two-way audio communication, you should plug speaker into the phone jack on the back of camera.
1. Re-power the device if it cannot be found within 1 minute.
2. Do not connect the device over a router. PLANET IP Wizard II program cannot detect the device over a router.
3. If the IP address is not assigned to the PC, PLANET IP Wizard II program cannot find the device. Make sure that the IP address is assigned to the PC properly.
4. Antivirus software on the PC might interfere with the setup program. Disable the firewall of the antivirus software during setting up this device.
5. Check the firewall setting of your PC or Notebook.
Internet Explorer displays the following message: "Your current security settings prohibit downloading ActiveX controls".
Setup the IE security settings or configure the individual settings to allow downloading and scripting of unsigned ActiveX controls.
