Yes, just make sure the NVR and IP cameras are connected to Internet properly. Then you can configure the NVR to record video from the IP cameras. However, be sure of sufficient bandwidth toward the cameras and the NVR.

Please confirm the NVR is in the Internet firstly. It may require a static IP or port forwarding setting. After confirmed, please download the APP from AppStore. Access the IP address of NVR by the iPhone.

Due to every IP camera will provide different image to NVR and also request different bandwidth. So, when the IP cameras connected, you can check the IP camera connection status in NVR web page to adjust the IP camera configuration. The maximum aggregated bandwidth for NVR-401 is 15Mbps (including incoming/outgoing bandwidth). When the bandwidth is over 15Mbps, recording frame rate will be reduced. When this situation happened, you may configure the connected IP camera settings on NVR to reduce the system loading.

The maximum aggregated bandwidth for NVR-3210 is 200Mbps (including incoming/outgoing bandwidth). When the bandwidth is over 200Mbps, recording frame rate will be affected. When this situation happened, you are required to configure the connected IP camera settings on NVR to reduce the system loading.

If a firewall exists on the network, port 80 is open for ordinary data communication. The HTTP port and RTSP port need to be opened on the firewall or NAT router.
