Please follow the steps below:

1. When the PC connects to Internet camera for the first time, a pop-up Security Warning window will appear to enable to download ActiveX control. When using Windows XP, or Vista, log on with an appropriate account that is authorized to install applications.
   
2. Network congestion may prevent the Image screen from appearing quickly. You may choose lower resolution to reduce the required bandwidth.

Please follow the steps below ：
1)Check and confirm that the DC power adaptor, included in packaged, is used. Secure the power connector and re-power it on again.
2)If the problem is not solved, the device might be faulty. Contact your dealer for further help.

Connecting the AC power adapter with Power Input connector of data cable. Then according to the practical local power voltage to adjust the power switch, and connect the power cord with adapter and power outlet.

Press the E button on the camera body for over 5 seconds and all the settings including network parameters will return to factory defaults.

If a firewall exists on the network, port 80 is open for ordinary data communication. The HTTP port and RTSP port need to be opened on the firewall or NAT router.

Set up the IE security settings or configure the individual settings to allow downloading and scripting of ActiveX control.

The default of DVR-471 and 1671 supports English, Traditional Chinese, Polish, Spanish, Russian, French, Turkish, German, Italian and Portuguese.
