Please follow the steps below:
Check IP address of device by using the PLANET IPInstaller program or by UPnP discovery or set the device to default by reset button.
Set up the IE security settings or configure the individual settings to allow downloading and scripting of ActiveX control.
The video output format (NTSC or PAL) is depends on the Analog Camera used which type. If the Analog Camera is NTSC type, the IVS-H120 will output the video as NTSC format, and vice versa.
Connect the powered Analog Camera to IVS-H120 first, then power on the IVS-H120 for determining NTSC or PAL format. After that, connect the video out cable to the monitor, so that the IVS-H120 will output the correct video format to TV monitor properly.
Please follow the steps below:
1) Re-power the device if cannot find the unit within 1 minutes.
2) Do not connect ICA-8500 / ICA-W8500 over a router. IPInstaller program cannot detect device over a router.
3) If IP address is not assigned to the PC running IPInstaller program, then IPInstaller program cannot find device. Make sure that IP address is assigned to the PC properly.
4) Antivirus software on the PC might interfere with the setup program. Disable the firewall of the antivirus software during setting up this ICA-8500 / ICA-W8500.
5) Check the firewall setting of your PC or Notebook.
Please follow the steps below:
The IVS-H120 supports PLANET Media Converter Chassis, it can easily fit to PLANET Media Convert Chassis model: MC-700, MC-1500 and MC-1500R. Please follow the steps below:
1. Remove and clear all the connections on the rear side of the IVS-H120.
2. Connect the powered analog camera to IVS-H120.
3. Carefully slide in the module until it is fully and firmly fitted into the slot of the chassis.
4. Once the Media Converter Chassis powered, the IVS-H120 power LED should turns on steady.
5. Connect an Ethernet cable to the LAN socket located on the IVS-H120's panel and attach it to the network.
