PLANET Wins the First Runner-up at the 2024 CommonWealth Talent Sustainability Award

PLANET Technology, a leading global IP-based networking company, recently won the first runner-up at the “2024 CommonWealth Talent Sustainability Award” for its integration of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) in the workplace that cultivates sustainable talents. For the second year in a row, PLANET has been selected among the Top 100 companies for talent sustainability by CommonWealth Magazine.


Protecting Human Rights and Promoting Equal Development
By placing people first, PLANET develops human rights policies to eliminate discrimination in any form and to protect employees’ work, families, and digital human rights. This includes the equality of promotion and development of diverse talents. The career development is balanced among genders with less than a 5% gender distribution gap among both staff and supervisors. The proportion of employees aged over 45 is 17% and the number of employees with disabilities surpasses regulatory requirements. Job responsibilities are adjusted based on individual conditions to eliminate the development gap in the workplace.

Comprehensive Employee Assistance Program to Maintain a Healthy Mind and Body
PLANET is committed to maintaining a happy and healthy workplace. It provides quarterly consultations on traditional Chinese and Western medicinal practices and physical therapy to help employees and their families stay healthy. From supporting employees' families to have a safe childbirth to friendly long-term care, employees are entitled to childcare and children's education subsidies, and one-day paid leave for family care, exceeding the legal requirements. This year, a 24-hour professional psychological consultation program and caregiver-friendly services are implemented in the workplace. A subsidy of NT$20,000 per year for long-term care and an assistance program is provided to employees who need support for the long-term care of family members without leaving their job.
