PLANET Technology has Obtained its First ISO 14067 Product Carbon Footprint Certificate

PLANET Technology, a leading global provider of IP-based networking solutions, has achieved the ISO 14067 Product Carbon Footprint Certification for its IGS-10020HPT Industrial-grade PoE Managed Switch. This significant milestone highlights PLANET’s commitment to low-carbon product development, strengthens its supply chain resilience and reinforces active response to climate mitigation.

Aligning with International Standards to Strengthen Product Carbon Management
The ISO 14067 standard helps organizations assess the greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions associated with the entire life cycle of a product from raw material sourcing and production to transportation, usage, and disposal. By achieving the ISO 14067 certification of the IGS-10020HPT switch, it acknowledged PLANET's comprehensive carbon footprint tracking mechanism, aligning with environmental sustainability goals and meeting international market demands.

Implementing Low-carbon Transformation toward a Net Zero Future
In line with global carbon reduction trends and net zero emission goals, PLANET has also obtained the ISO 14001 Environmental Management System certification and ISO 14064-1 Greenhouse Gas Emissions Verification, thus responding to the SBTi Science Based Targets initiative in 2024. Additionally, PLANET voluntarily participates in the CDP carbon disclosure program and has earned a B rating for small and medium enterprises in climate change. A robust product carbon management system not only underscores the company’s commitment to environmental sustainability but also enhances the competitiveness of its products in the global market.

PLANET promotes green product design and sustainable supply chain management, aiming to further leverage environmental data to enhance carbon reduction designs. By collaborating with supply chain partners, we strive to continually implement carbon reduction actions and strengthen the resilience of its sustainable supply chain.
