Network Structure:
Follow the steps below for setting up the Router A:
1. Go to the VPN à IPsec page.
2. Set the IPsec Tunnels as enable.
3. Click the Add IPsec Tunnel button.
4. Set the Active as enable.
5. Input the Tunnel Name and select Interface.
6. Input the Local Network and Netmask as the Router A’s LAN IP address.
7. Input the Remote Host/IP Address as Router B’s public WAN IP address.
8. Input the Remote Network and Netmask as Router B’s LAN IP address.
9. Input the Preshare Key as the same as the one set on both routers.
10. Set the IKE Setting. It should be the same as the Router B.
11. Click the Apply Settings button to save changes.
Follow the steps below for setting up the Router B:
12. Go to the VPN à IPsec page.
13. Set the IPsec Tunnels as enable.
14. Click the Add IPsec Tunnel button.
15. Set the Active as enable.
16. Input the Tunnel Name and select Interface.
17. Input the Local Network and Netmask as the Router B’s LAN IP address.
18. Input the Remote Host/IP Address as Router A’s public WAN IP address.
19. Input the Remote Network and Netmask as Router A’s LAN IP address.
20. Input the Preshare Key as the same as the one set on both routers.
21. Set the IKE Setting. It should be the same as the Router A.
22. Click the Apply Settings button to save changes.
VPN Connection Status
There are two ways to check the VPN connection status.
1. Go to the VPN à IPsec page. The status shows Connected.
2. Go to the VPN à VPN Connection à IPsec page.
