If the Switch doesn't connect to the network
1. Check the Link/Activity LED on the switch: If the Link/Activity LED isn't lit, check all connections at the adapter and the Hub. Make sure the adapter drivers are loaded.
2. Try another port on the switch.
3. Make sure the cable is installed properly The network cable must be securely attached at all connections. If the cable is attached but the problem persists, try a different cable.
4. Make sure the cable is the right type: Use straight through for connection to NICs and crossover for other switches or hubs.
5. Turn off the power. After a while, turn on power again. If the ports are not auto-sensing correctly then turn on and off each device that is connected to the switch: This will reset the NWay function on each switched port.
