What is the different from startup-config, running-config, and backup-config?

When WGSW-24010 boots up, the system reads the startup-config and make a copy as a running-config. After boots up, the system works with running-config, any change of configuration is saved to running-config but not to startup-config. A new boot will read the original unchanged startup-config. To boot up with new configuration, you will need to copy the running-config to the startup-config before reboot. (In command prompt use the command "copy run start")
Once you did a bad configuration on running system, copy the startup-config to running-config or reboot will return WGSW-24010 to startup configuration.
WGSW-24010 provides a factory default function to reset WGSW-24010 to factory default configuration. Once you run the factory default function, WGSW-24010 will reboot with an empty startup configuration. Please manually copy factory default configuration, backup-config, to startup-config. (In command prompt use the command "copy back start")
