The following PLANET products are built-in IEEE802.3af splitter and can be powered by FSD-804P: FSD-803PE, FSD-504PE, VIP-103PT, VIP-153PT, ICA-100PE, WAP-4060PE, WSG-402 and POE-150S. Of course, third party products that fully complied with IEEE802.3af can be powered by FSD-804P or FSD-804PS as well.

A :

Each PoE port support 48VDC, 350mA, max 15.4 watts power output. Detect and inject by the standard of IEEE 802.3af.

A :

1. Please check the POE-151S is connect with an IEEE 802.3af complied in-line device like POE-150, and check if the POE LED indicator at POE-151S is steady blink once attach to the IEEE 802.3af in-line power device. Then connect the DC plug cable to the device you would like to power on.

2. Please check the cable type of the connection from one end to the other end. The cable should be an 8-wire UTP, Category 5 or above, EIA568 cable within 100 meters. A cable with only 4-wire, short loop or over 100 meters, all will affect the power supply.

3. Please check the power requirement of the device you would like to power and check the label of the POE-151S if it meets the requirement. There are three models of POE-151S for different power output, DC 5V, DC 9 V and DC 12V.

4. Please check the specification of the powered device. If the device is over the specification of POE-151S, the LED indicator of POE-151S will blink instead of stead green. The maximum currents that POE-151S can supply are: 2A (5V DC), 1.3A (9V DC) and 1A (12V DC).

A :

The main difference between POE-151 and POE-152 series product is the speed mode, the POE-151 series supports 10/100Mbps speed mode and the POE-152 series supports 10/100/1000 speed mode.

A :

Yes, both POE-151 and POE-152 series products are comply with IEEE 802.3af Power over Ethernet standard and these products can work together. However, as the design, if there is any Gigabit Ethernet device, POE-152 or POE-152S is required so that it can support 1000Base-T for 1000Mbps bandwidth. Any ends with POE-151 or POE-151S or any PLANET Mid-span products such as POE-400 will only support 10/100Base-TX for 10 or 100Mbps.
