You have to assign the total number of IP camera at first, so that you just could setup the IP camera. Please access to <System Setup> --> <IP Camera Support> menu to setup the number of IP cameras to be connected, for example: 8. The IP Camera channels will be arranged after the analog camera. For example IP camera number is 8, then the first IP Camera channel will begin from 9 and end at channel number 16.
If a firewall exists on the network, port 80 is open for ordinary data communication. The HTTP port and RTSP port need to be opened on the firewall or NAT router.
You can reset to factory default values via Web management (Initialize page) or use the Setup Tool software which is contained in the bundled CD.
Please follow the steps below:
1) Unplug the power jack, and then press and hold the reset button.
2) Power on the camera. Don’t release the button during the system booting. It will take around 30 seconds to boot the camera.
3) Release the button (remove the pin from the reset hole). The camera should now be back to factory default.
4) Login the camera using the default IP (http://192.168.0.20). Username: admin, password: admin
Please go to Main Menu -> System -> Digital -> Channel Type to select Analog / Hybrid / Digital mode before adding cameras. Next, you can add and set up cameras in Digital Channels.
You can use the Setup Tool software which is contained in the User's Manual CD to search the ICA-510 and modify the basic configuration on your network.
Check IP address of the device by using the PLANET IPInstaller program or by UPnP discovery or by setting the device to default by reset button.
